Never too late.
After living in a gorgeous 1908 Craftsman home for nearly 15 years, Ms. M finally had enough of a dark and poorly designed kitchen - the result of a bad 1970’s “remodel.” No fewer than five doorways interrupted the space which was also dominated by a huge peninsula that literally intruded in to the room. We streamlined the number of access points and opened up the room to allow more light.  Replacement of aluminum sliders with traditional wood-framed double hung windows brought back an air of authenticity to the room.  A custom designed Marmoleum inlaid floor is the highlight of this wonderful new space.  Soapstone counters and jadite glass cabinet pulls, along with a traditional subway tile backsplash, complete this tastefully updated kitchen.
